Howard Bindelglass is senior counsel to Phillips Nizer LLP where he concentrates his practice exclusively in the field of Trusts and Estates, with heavy emphasis on estate planning. For twenty years, Mr. Bindelglass taught the preparation of estate planning documents at New York University School of Law, where he was an Adjunct Professor of Law.
Mr. Bindelglass is a former law assistant in the New York Surrogate's Court, Queens County, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, now serving as a member of its Fiduciary Income Tax Committee. He has also been a member of the Committee on Estate and Gift Tax of the American Bar Association and of the Committees on Estate and Gift Tax and Trusts, Estates and Surrogates' Courts of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
He has served as a lecturer for the Practicing Law Institute, Law Journal Seminars, the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
