Henry Condell is a partner with the New York law firm of Phillips Nizer LLP, specializing in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy. Mr. Condell serves as counsel to numerous corporations and has extensive experience in the representation of commercial and institutional creditors, including real estate companies, national retailers, manufacturing companies, international shipping companies, insurance companies, investment banks, national and international banks, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Mr. Condell has also represented numerous corporate debtors, chapter 11 trustees, commercial creditors and creditors committees in chapter 11 proceedings, and has himself served as a chapter 11 trustee.
Mr. Condell has lectured on bankruptcy and reorganization to professional organizations, including meetings of the Institute of Management Accountants, the Chinese American Bankers Association (CABA) and seminars sponsored by chapters of the NYC Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has written on various bankruptcy topics, including co-authoring chapters for Aspatore Books. His article, "Trademark License Agreements: The rights of a debtor/licensee to assume, or assume and assign, are uncertain," appeared in the New York Law Journal.
Mr. Condell began his legal career as a trial attorney in the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. before entering private practice in New York.
