Eugene M. Kline joined Phillips Nizer LLP in 1943, after having been an attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission and a practicing attorney in New York. Mr. Kline soon became active in the motion picture field and represented United Artists Corporation and Orion Pictures Corporation.
Mr. Kline has also represented many apparel manufacturers and fashion designers in developing their own companies and in granting licenses for the use of their names and designs. He represented Marc Jacobs in selling an interest in his company to Louis Vuitton Moét Hennessey. Mr. Kline served as a director of Orion and Bill Blass Ltd. for many years.
In addition to the entertainment and apparel fields, Mr. Kline has developed expertise in many other areas such as mergers, acquisitions, start-up planning, corporate and L.L.C. agreements, licensing and general business advice, and acts as general counsel to many corporations.
