Jeffrey B. Kolodny is a partner in the Trusts & Estates Department at Phillips Nizer LLP. Mr. Kolodny concentrates his practice on complex international and domestic estate planning and administration with a focus on wealth preservation through effective tax planning, structuring, and personal planning for high net worth individuals and multinational families. Mr. Kolodny also frequently assists with the resolution of controversies among family members, between fiduciaries and beneficiaries, and between taxpayers and the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other taxing authorities.
Recently, Mr. Kolodny has been advising several United States individuals with respect to their participation in the IRSs Voluntary Disclosure Program and the repatriation of their offshore holdings.
Mr. Kolodny is a frequent author and speaker about various aspects of law. His articles include:
