David A. Pellegrino is a commercial litigator with a practice emphasis on real estate-related matters. For more than 20 years, Mr. Pellegrino has advised lenders, borrowers, developers, property owners, managing agents, boards, brokers and individuals in both state and federal court on various issues including disputes between joint venturers, lien priorities, financing issues, statutory actions such as foreclosures, partitions and encroachments, and other real estate related litigation.
Mr. Pellegrino has obtained several notable decisions for clients including the leading case involving the duration and priority of real estate liens from New York's highest court. He is the co-author of the chapter “Commercial Real Estate Litigation” in the critically acclaimed multi-volume treatise Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts, edited by Robert L. Haig.
Mr. Pellegrino regularly lectures on real estate litigation issues. He is an active member of the Commercial and Federal Litigation section of the New York Bar Association and its committee on the Civil Practice Law and Rules, which governs litigation in New York State Courts.
Mr. Pellegrino is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and St. John's University School of Law.
