Tiberio Schwartz is a partner at Phillips Nizer LLP. He concentrates in the areas of domestic and international taxation, estate planning and corporate and finance transactions.
Mr. Schwartz advises individuals and corporations regarding international, federal and state tax laws, estate and succession planning, including generation to generation wealth transfers and the preservation of family-owned businesses.
Mr. Schwartz’s practice also involves the structuring of a wide variety of domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and investments in both private and publicly held companies. He works closely with members of the firm’s Banking and Finance, Securities and M&A practice groups.
Before joining Phillips Nizer, Mr. Schwartz served as law clerk to the Honorable C. Albert Parente, United States Bankruptcy Judge. He is a member of the New York State and Florida Bar Associations.
Mr. Schwartz is a native of Colombia, South America.
