Mr. Turkle began his law career in the New York City Law Department where he represented municipal agencies in wide-ranging civil litigations and provided counsel in areas of social policy.
In private practice since 1987, Mr. Turkle has concentrated in the areas of commercial litigation and arbitration. He has litigated complex cases in both federal and state court involving insurance law, employment discrimination, restrictive covenants, municipal law, auditors liability, intellectual property, licensing agreements, and professional liability.
Mr. Turkle has authored several articles in the area of insurance law, including:

Mr. Turkle has served as a member of the Entertainment Committee, the Young Lawyers' Committee and as a member of the Committee on Bioethical Issues of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He is a member of Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
While a student at New York Law School, Mr. Turkle was Notes and Comments Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law.
