Marc A. Landis, chair and partner of the Real Estate Law Department and Sandra A. Riemer, chair and partner of the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice will co-present on the topic, "The Troubled Commercial Real Estate Loan: Workout and Bankruptcy-Related Issues," on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Herald National Bank in New York City.

The program will provide an overview of how to handle the 2009 version of a defaulted commercial real estate loan, including strategic approaches to workout negotiations in the era of Commercial-Backed Mortgage Securities (CMBS) loans and bankruptcy code implications for single-asset debtors, debtor-in-possession financing and plan confirmation issues.
