New York, NY – Phillips Nizer LLP is pleased to announce the election of Elizabeth A. Adinolfi and Athena M. Mihalos as partners, and Kathryn T. Lundy and Florian von Eyb as counsel.
Elizabeth A. Adinolfi
has been appointed chair of the firm’s Guardianship Practice and a partner in the Litigation and Matrimonial Practices. Liz represents clients in every stage of complex commercial litigation, from initiation through the appellate process. She also provides advice to and litigates in connection with guardianship matters and contested matrimonial disputes. She is a past recipient of the Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Advocacy bestowed by Sanctuary for Families Center for Battered Women's Legal Services.
Athena M. Mihalos
is a partner in the Matrimonial and Family Law Practice, counseling clients in all legal aspects of marriage and family matters. Athena negotiates prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, marital separation and custodial agreements, and litigates divorce, custodial and support disputes, including sophisticated asset valuations, asset tracing, equitable distribution, support, custody and parental access issues. She is a past editor of the New York Domestic Relations Reporter.
Kathryn T. Lundy
, Litigation Practice counsel, represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters relating to business ownership disputes, commercial real estate matters, and other business disputes. KC also engages in litigation, arbitration and administrative proceedings before Federal and state agencies involving the American with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, among others, as well as breach of employment contracts, non-competition agreements and other related laws and actions.
Florian von Eyb
is international counsel to the Corporate & Business Law and German Practices, focusing on U.S. and international business transactions of companies and individuals from the German-speaking countries of Europe. Florian also advises German and U.S. clients on employment law, immigration law (work visa and dual-citizenship) and trademark issues. He is licensed to practice in New York and Germany.
