Branka Banić is an associate in the New Jersey Litigation Department and Matrimonial and Family Law Practice at Phillips Nizer LLP.

Branka represents clients in civil litigation matters in the New Jersey Superior Court Law Division, Chancery Division, along with the United States District Court in New Jersey. Her case load involves commercial cases, malpractice matters, personal injury cases, chancery litigation, and community association law. She brings with her extensive civil litigation experience in a broad array of areas. Branka regularly drafts dispositive motions, letter briefs, mediation statements and appears at oral arguments, depositions, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and hearings and trials.

Branka also represents clients in complex, high-net worth family law matters in trial courts and arbitration proceedings. She has reviewed, assessed and uncovered valuable assets in heavily contested dissolutions, which frequently involve business valuations, off-shore banks accounts and hidden assets.

Branka has experience with all levels of family law matters, including divorce, domestic violence, financial disputes, custody and separation agreements. She is a proactive and meticulous advocate for her clients and well-respected by colleagues and the bench.

Prior to joining Phillips Nizer, Branka gained invaluable experience through her law school's Immigration and Human Right's Clinic wherein she represented individuals before the Department of Homeland Security. She also worked for the United States Department of Justice and City of Elizabeth's Corporate Counsel. Before private practice, Branka served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Tober, J.S.C., in the Somerset County Family Part.
