William J. King
William J. King is an associate in Phillips Nizer’s litigation department. His practice spans a range of litigation matters, including internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, contract disputes, securities lawsuits, bankruptcy matters and commercial transactions.Will's clients have included individuals and businesses in varying industries, including global financial institutions, hedge funds and technology companies. He has counseled clients on issues involving fraud, anti-money laundering, FCPA violations, anti-bribery and employment law. Will has history litigating against and negotiating with the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, among other regulatory authorities.
Although much of his practice occurs in the office and boardroom, Will has argued an appellate criminal appeal and frequently advocates for clients in depositions and court appearances.
Will began his legal career as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
