Jeffrey Deutsch is counsel in the Trusts and Estates Department where he practices in all aspects of estate planning, charitable and non-charitable gift planning and succession planning for a varied client base, including ultra-high net worth families and their businesses, as well as high net worth individuals. Having practiced in public accounting for several years, Mr. Deutsch brings experience as a Certified Public Accountant by advising clients on issues relating to asset protection and income and gift tax aspects of corporate and commercial transactions.
Mr. Deutsch earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn College in 1995 and his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School in 2002 where he was a senior member of the Journal of Law and Policy. He is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. Mr. Deutsch is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to joining Phillips Nizer, Mr. Deutsch was an associate in the Trusts and Estates department of a major national law firm in New York City.
