Elliot Falk is a partner at Phillips Nizer LLP and a member of the Real Estate Department. Elliot practices in the area of commercial and residential real estate acquisition and development, representing both developers and debt and equity investors. He also represents owners and developers in connection with condominium and cooperative offering plans for the conversion of existing tenanted buildings and for properties that are under construction or renovation as residential properties. A focus of his practice is the creation of specialized condominiums at mixed-use properties for tax and other purposes.
Elliot has also represented corporate clients in connection with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and finance.
Before joining Phillips Nizer, Elliot practiced at Herrick, Feinstein LLP and his earlier affiliations include Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and Gilbert Segall and Young, a firm that served a top tier international client base. He was also real estate counsel at Continuum Health Partners. Elliot is a member of the New York State Bar Association Cooperatives and Condominiums Committee.
Elliot is a graduate of Columbia College, where he received his B.A. degree, cum laude, in Mathematics in 1974. He earned his law degree in 1977 from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
