Raymond W. Goldfaden has more than thirty years of experience in all phases of real estate law, including the acquisition and disposition of office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, industrial properties, warehouses, apartment buildings, restaurants and assisted living facilities.
In addition, Mr. Goldfaden has extensive experience in sophisticated commercial leasing transactions involving ground leases, gross and net leases of office and industrial buildings, sale and leasebacks for owners and users of commercial real estate. During his career, Mr. Goldfaden has represented both lenders and borrowers in asset based and secured lending transactions, restructurings and work-outs. He represented The Resolution Trust Corporation in the disposition of real estate and non-performing loans.
Mr. Goldfaden has authored numerous real estate related articles, which have appeared in quarterly publications as well as law journals. He edited the volume on leasing of Mathew Bender's Bergermann & Roth New York Real Estate Property forms.
Mr. Goldfaden has lectured at various functions and has served as a member of various committees on leasing and real estate issues with The American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
