Michael W. Galligan, Trusts & Estates partner and member of the firm's International, Tax and Private Clients practices, was elected Chair-Elect of the International Law and Practice Section (IL&PS) of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Galligan will assume the role of Chair in 2008.
Mr. Galligan is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, an Academician of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He lecturers and writes articles regularly on international estate planning.
