This program is applicable to all employers, regardless of industry or number of employees. An employer's failure to comply with these laws can result in audits, individual and collective litigation threatening its financial health and stability. Proper management of these issues can assist employers to avoid litigation or effectively defend against it.
The program will address:
- The FLSA and New York labor law concerning employee wages and hours, including classification of overtime pay;
- BlackBerrys, laptops and compensable time outside of regular work hours;
- Terminations and layoffs.
