The seminar, held on September 13 and 14 at the Yale Club in New York City, covered such areas as the formation of "inbound" businesses in the U.S. and "outbound" businesses in various foreign jurisdictions; fundamental considerations for cross-border M&A, a comparative law case study; regulatory changes private investment funds are facing in the U.S. and abroad, as well as a cross-border deal trends panel headed by investment bankers.
Mr. Kula served as the NYSBA International Section Co-Chair of the program. Mr. Galligan, the Immediate-Past Chair of the International Section, and Mr. Kula, served on the seminar's Organizing Committee.
