March 22, 2001), which attorneys Stuart Summit and Michael Fischman handled in Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York, is the subject of a Current Topics article by Mr. Jacoby. The decision made new law in permitting a suit in which essentially both sides of the caption were American nevertheless to be referred to Dutch courts on forum non conveniens grounds. Mr. Jacoby also prepared a report on a program on contingent fees which was held at the Amsterdam conference. Mr. Jacoby edits the IBA Committee 12 newsletter.
