Neil C. Kleinhandler, senior partner in the firm's Tax Department, will moderate during The New York Tax Study Group Inc.'s June 28 meeting being held at The Penn Club in New York City at 6:00 p.m. The meeting's topic will be, "Ethics and Advocacy: Representing Taxpayers Before the IRS."
Mr. Kleinhandler concentrates his practice in the area of employee benefits and ERISA matters. He is responsible for obtaining from the employee plans branch of the Internal Revenue Service, volume submitter status for qualified pension, profit sharing and 401(k) plans sponsored by the firm. Mr. Kleinhandler has lectured on various topics related to qualified employee benefit plans and estate planning issues that affect retirement plan assets. He also devotes substantial time in assisting the firm's matrimonial and trust and estates departments in complex tax matters.
