  • Investigated cyberattack against biotechnology company targeting non-public information regarding new product announcements, supervised third-party cyber experts and handled required communications with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

  • Guided North American division of global health advertising company to compliance with European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and  the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) including revised policies, procedures, technology, staff trainings, improved cybersecurity, and certification pursuant to the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield frameworks.

  • Counseled global manufacturing company on new policies and procedures for conducting internal digital investigations in compliance with German federal and state data protection laws and China’s Cybersecurity Law.

  • Supervised planning and procedures in preparation for potential dawn raids on European offices of a global company by the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission and EU Member State law enforcement, including techniques for rapid and effective assertions of privilege over seized communications and data.

  • Advised global pharmaceutical company on compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in respect to policies and procedures for electronic discovery and internal investigations.

  • Oversaw compliance by a US drug-maker in English patent litigation with the disclosure regime set forth in Civil Procedure Rule 31 and Practice Directions 31A and 31B.
