Athena M. Mihalos is a partner in the Matrimonial & Family Law Department at Phillips Nizer LLP.  Her practice is devoted to all areas of matrimonial and family law before New York trial and appellate courts.  She has handled complex disputes involving divorce, equitable distribution of business and financial assets, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, and represents clients in negotiating prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Ms. Mihalos is a past editor of the New York Domestic Relations Reporter, published by Matthew Bender.  As a Barrister of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court, she has participated in speaking engagements, including “Sex, Money & Work – Ethical Dilemmas” and “The O’Brien Era”. 

Ms. Mihalos is a member of the New York State Bar Association Section of Family Law and the American Bar Association Section of Family Law.  She is also active in various civic associations.
