Richard I. Solomon is a counsel in the Corporate Department at Phillips Nizer LLP.  Mr. Solomon concentrates his practice in the areas of international business, corporate, securities and general commercial law, having represented public and private clients, both domestic and international, in a cross section of industries including electronics, semiconductors, gem and jewelry, publishing, insurance and health.

Mr. Solomon represents clients in such diverse matters as mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, initial and secondary public offerings and leveraged buyouts.  For more than twenty-five years, Mr. Solomon has represented a number of clients as primary outside general counsel, advising concerning corporate governance, contracts, licensing, reporting requirements, labor matters, intellectual property, media, litigation, creditors’ rights, real estate and board of director and committee membership.

Mr. Solomon was formerly a partner at Thelen Reid & Priest LLP and prior to that time was a name partner at Summit Solomon & Feldesman.
