Megan Henley
Associate
Megan Henley is an associate in the Trusts & Estates Department at Phillips Nizer, where she focuses on estate planning and administration. Megan handles comprehensive estate documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
Prior to law school, Megan worked full time as an elder law paralegal in Nashville. During her time at law school, Megan served as Health Law Fellow researching accessibility issues with New York’s notary laws, assisted with representing a client in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York as part of the LGBT Advocacy Clinic, and interned for Surrogate Hon. Rosemarie Montalbano for the Kings County Surrogate’s Court. As a law student, Megan was honored with the New York State Bar Association’s Ho norable Joel K. Asarch Elder Law and Special Needs Section Scholarship, as well as Brooklyn Law School’s Carswell and Lark-Barranco Scholarships.Megan is a member of the New York County Lawyer’s Association. She is fluent in Spanish (Castellano dialect).
