Gabrielle C. Wilson
Counsel
Gabrielle C. Wilson is counsel in Phillips Nizer LLP’s Litigation Practice. Gabrielle advises clients in the creative industries, including artists, collectors, galleries, and institutions, on matters involving copyright, trademark, art restitution, cultural property, and complex commercial disputes.
Gabrielle has extensive experience litigating high-stakes art law cases in both federal and state courts, as well as negotiating and drafting agreements related to the exhibition, loan, consignment, and sale of artwork. She has represented claimants in the recovery of looted art, working with international legal frameworks and engaging in historical provenance research. Her practice also includes advising on fair use, authenticity, and other cutting-edge legal issues affecting the art market.
Gabrielle is recognized by Chambers and Partners High Net Worth for Art and Cultural Property Law (2022–2025) and has been named as a “Rising Star” by New York Metro Super Lawyers and “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers for her work in intellectual property law.
