Phillips Nizer Adds David Feldman to its Employment and Labor Law Practice as Partner

New York, NY (August 22, 2023) – Phillips Nizer is pleased to announce that employment and labor attorney, David B. Feldman, has joined the firm as a partner in their New York office.
David represents clients in all areas of Employment and Labor Law, including wage and hour, fair employment practices, and executive compensation and agreements. He has extensive experience counseling and, where necessary, defending employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. David’s clients include companies and corporations in the hospitality, financial services, entertainment, fashion, retail, medical, and publishing industries.
At Phillips Nizer, David is joining a growing Employment & Labor Law practice group. Earlier this year, the firm added associate Caitlin Breen, a former Assistant District Attorney, to handle a wide range of employment law matters.  “I am very excited to have Dave join the practice,” said Regina Faul, the firm’s Employment & Labor Law Practice Chair.  “He is a well-established practitioner with a wealth of knowledge and together I’m confident that we will continue to grow the practice and enhance the servicing of our existing clients.”
“We are thrilled to add Dave to the Phillips Nizer team,” said Marc Landis, the Firm’s Managing Partner. “Dave’s deep industry expertise will bring another advantage to our Employment & Labor Law practice and will be a tremendous asset to the firm.”
Prior to joining Phillips Nizer, David was the founder and chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group for a mid-sized law firm.  In prior roles, David served as lead counsel in defending clients against individual, collective, and class action lawsuits in the fields of wage and hour and fair employment practices.  Having also previously served as Managing Attorney for the New York City Commission on Human Rights, David was responsible for the daily legal activities and operations of its Law Enforcement Bureau.
David received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and his B.A. from Union College.
