Phillips Nizer Restructures Affordable Housing Developments
06/22/2023The Phillips Nizer real estate team, supported by the corporate and tax practice groups, recently completed a year-long effort to restructure the ownership of five New York City low-income housing developments on behalf of a long-time client.
The affordable housing developments are subsidized by Federal, state and local agencies and are part of the Federal low-income housing tax credit program. The firm’s effort was led by real estate practice leader Marc A. Landis, supported by corporate partner Brian Brodrick, tax partner Neil C. Kleinhandler, and real estate associate David Rosenberg.
