Natsayi Mawere is a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property Practices. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a concentration in luxury, fashion, and financial sectors. She has experience representing clients in matters involving trademark and trade dress disputes, consumer protection claims, consumer fraud and lender liability matters, contractual disputes, garnishments, and discovery-intensive proceedings.     

Natsayi has managed all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts. Her experience includes developing litigation strategy, preparing initial pleadings, overseeing all aspects of discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling dispositive motions, trial preparation, and appellate briefing.
 
In addition to her practice, Natsayi is actively involved in the community. She serves on the Junior Board of the Coalition for the Homeless, the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women, and children in New York City. She also serves on the Advisory Board of First Step, a job training program within the Coalition that supports homeless and low-income women in New York City, and on the Board of Freedom for All, an organization focused on combating global human trafficking, forced labor, child labor and sex trafficking.
