Laura Voightlaender
Associate

Laura Voigtlaender is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice at Phillips Nizer LLP. She counsels clients across a range of industries, including fashion, publishing, technology, and luxury goods, on matters related to trademarks, licensing, brand enforcement, and cross-border intellectual property protection.
 
Prior to joining the firm, she interned with the intellectual property teams at Louis Vuitton, Haug Partners LLP and Roche Legal, where she handled trademark clearance, IP enforcement strategy, and anti-counterfeiting matters for high-profile brands. While at Phillips Nizer as a prior intern, she assisted with technology transactions, trademark disputes, and co-authored IP publications, including contributions to Luxury Law – Law Over Borders Comparative Guide 2024.
 
A native of Germany, Laura served as a Judicial Clerk at the Higher Regional Court of Zweibrücken and previously supported mergers and acquisitions transactions at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Germany.

Laura earned her LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law from Fordham University School of Law (cum laude) and passed the New York State Bar Exam in 2025. She also holds a Law degree from the University of Mainz. She is fluent in German and English.
