04/28/2025Phillips Nizer LLP is proud to announce that Managing Partner Marc Landis has once again been recognized by City & State New York on its prestigious Law Power 100 list for 2025. This marks the third time Landis has been honored with this distinction, having previously been named to the list in 2024 and 2022.
The Law Power 100 list highlights the most influential legal professionals across New York State, including top government attorneys, law firm leaders, judges, academics, and advocates shaping the legal and political landscape.
Marc Landis plays a central role in the strategic leadership of Phillips Nizer and co-chairs the firm’s Real Estate and Israel practices. A seasoned attorney, Landis is known for his deep experience in complex real estate matters, including the development and preservation of affordable housing, commercial leasing, and real estate financing.
Beyond his legal work, Landis is deeply engaged in public service and community leadership. He currently serves on the New York State Democratic Committee and is the former chair of the Manhattan Democratic County Committee. Most recently, he was sworn in as the new Democratic Commissioner of Elections of the New York City Board of Elections for the County of New York. He is also a member of the North American Board of Trustees of the Union for Reform Judaism, reflecting his long-standing commitment to civic and religious leadership.
