Phillips Nizer is pleased to have represented the Union for Reform Judaism (the “URJ”) on a pro bono basis in the successful conclusion of the refinancing of its $26.5 million working capital term loan. Our firm’s team was led by corporate partner R. Brian Brodrick, assisted by managing partner Marc A. Landis and associate Huyen K. Dang.
The URJ represents the largest Jewish movement in North America, with 900 member congregations and communities, leaders in social justice work and operators of a network of summer camps. The URJ strives to create a more whole, just, and compassionate world, motivating and mobilizing people from diverse backgrounds to participate and deepen their engagement in Jewish life in ways that ultimately transform themselves, their communities, and the world at large.
