Alan Behr Appointed to INTA Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee for 2026–2027 Term

New York, NY – Phillips Nizer LLP congratulates Alan Behr, Chair of the firm’s Fashion Practice and partner in the Intellectual Property and Corporate & Business Law groups, on his appointment to the Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2026–2027 Committee Term. Prior to this appointment, Alan served as Chair of the Enforcement Subcommittee within INTA’s Copyright Committee during the 2022–2023 term, where he led strategic discussions on global enforcement trends and coordinated policy initiatives on copyright protection and infringement.

The Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee plays a critical role in shaping INTA’s global policy positions regarding the balanced protection of famous and well-known marks. The committee monitors developments in treaties, cases, legislation, and regulation across various jurisdictions, completes analyses, and proposes policy recommendations to the Board.
