Phillips Nizer LLP Announces Promotions to Counsel
01/07/2026Phillips Nizer is pleased to announce the promotions of Judith L. Swartz and Lindsey de Stefan to Counsel, effective January 7.
Judith L. Swartz is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Employment & Labor Law practices in the firm’s New York office. She represents corporate and individual clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts and defamation actions, as well as a broad range of employment and labor law matters. Judith regularly appears in federal and state courts and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Judith earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Binghamton University. She is an active member of the New York City Bar Association.
Lindsey de Stefan is a member of the firm’s Matrimonial & Family Law practice, based in New Jersey. Her practice focuses on family law, including divorce, custody, support, and related matters. Prior to joining Phillips Nizer, Lindsey served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
